A Little While

from by Carl Testa

A Little While

Recorded 29 September 2007

This is a slow, quiet piece for quartet that focuses on textural improvisation. In this performance the group moves into a lot of different spaces. Some of my favorite moments are the bullhorn section, and when James comes in with a new clarinet motive that I pick up on the string bass and we have a little dialouge.
